Nine events over three days bring visitors from around the state and nation to Natchitoches. There are free and ticketed events, including the no-charge kickoff reception at the museum, the Rockin' River Fest Friday night concert and fireworks show on Rue Beauport, and the Junior Training Camp at NSU. Ticketed events are a VIP Tailgate Party with the Friday concert, a Friday bowling party in Alexandria, Saturday's Roundtable Lunch, and the Saturday evening Induction Ceremony. There are vendors and sponsors opportunities - contact Ronnie Rantz. Inductions began in Natchitoches in 1972 and the current three-day format started in 2003. The LSHOF Foundation hosts the event along with the City of Natchitoches and NSU. Live TV coverage and extensive additional media coverage are among the benefits, other than the obvious economic impact from 700-plus participants, for our community.
