Thursday

5-7 p.m. – La Capitol Federal Credit Union Welcome Reception

Inside the LSHOF Museum, Natchitoches welcomes the 2020 inductees with a lively happy hour featuring local cuisine (catered by Maglieaux’s on the Riverfront) and entertainment. Casual attire.  (No charge for this event, which is open to the public).

Friday

Noon-2 p.m. – 80’s Bowling Bash, sponsored by BOM Bank – Bowling center to be determined, Shreveport-Bossier City.  Food, a DJ, bowling competition involving teams and a special contest for HOF members and inductees and state sports celebrities. Tickets: $100/person, $50 for kids 13 & under.

6-10:30 – Hall of Fame Rockin’ River Fest – Downtown riverbank stage, Natchitoches – This free event features live music on stage and an array of kid-friendly sports activities (golf, football, basketball) provided by Louisiana Propane Dealers and event sponsor Rapides Regional Medical Center. Food vendors will be selling their fare. Amphitheatre-style festival seating on the banks of the Cane River on the Rue Beauport Riverfront.

7-10 p.m.– VIP Taste of Tailgating, sponsored by Hancock-Whitney Bank

Exclusive to VIP patrons only inside an air-conditioned tent near the stage for the Rockin’ River Fest. Complimentary wine/beer/specialty cocktails, free food options from restaurants across the state of Louisiana. Tickets: $100/person, $50 for kids 13 & under. Includes VIP Viewing area outside near Rockin’ River Fest stage. 

Saturday

9 a.m.-11 a.m. – Junior Training Camp, NSU Wellness and Recreational Complex (WRAC), 322 Sam Sibley Drive. The Northwestern State football and basketball staffs host a free Junior Training Camp for 300 kids, sponsored by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Department and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Boys & girls ages 8-16 will learn skills and participate in drills. Also participating is the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness led by Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame inductee Rudy Macklin, along with other past HOF inductees and local coaches. (advance registration required, capacity 300 youth).

12 noon-1:30 – Round Table Lunch, Chateau Saint Denis hotel, Ballroom – 2020 inductees will be interviewed by Fox Sports’ Tim Brando in fast-moving group sessions following lunch catered by nationally-renowned Lasyone’s Restaurant. Public event. Casual attire, slacks and a golf shirt for the men. Tickets: $100/person.

5-6:45 p.m. – Induction Day Reception at the Museum, 800 Front Street (100 yard walk to the Events Center) – Exclusive to patrons attending the Induction Ceremony, with music, refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres (in lieu of a meal at the ceremony). Golf carts, etc., available from parking areas to the museum and Events Center.

6 p.m. –Reception/Silent Auction Natchitoches Events Center, 750 Second Street (across the street from the Chateau Saint Denis hotel). Refreshments and light appetizers.

7 p.m. – Induction Ceremony begins with National Anthem, followed by the Walk of Legends, induction ceremony. Attire: Coat and tie for the gentlemen and dress for women is appropriate.

The museum will be open daily, including Sunday, 10-4:30. $6 admission except for the Saturday reception.
