Run for Burt 5k

Historical Downtown Natchitoches River Bank
626 Front Street
Natchitoches, LA 71457

The Burt Clark Foundation’s RunForBurt 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser is in memory of Natchitoches native Burt Clark, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and citizen. Burt was an avid runner and cyclist who tragically transitioned this life way too soon. Burt was committed to encouraging, inspiring, and motivating everyone he met to engage in a more active and healthier lifestyle anchored in fitness.  Burt didn't just encourage others, he led by example participating in numerous events annually, including the Atlanta Peachtree Road Race, Calloway Gardens Triathlon/Duathlon and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Beta Lambda Lambda Chapter’s 5K/10K event.  Burt passionately believed everyone should "get up and move" regardless of age, gender, physical ability, or socioeconomic standing.

The Burt Clark Foundation will continue Burt’s passion for inspiring and motivating healthier lifestyle choices, and through your generous donations and proceeds from BCF events will award two college scholarships annually to deserving high school seniors graduating from Burt’s high school alma mater Natchitoches Central High School or that will be attending Burt's college alma mater Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
