SUMMARY:Lunchtime Talk: Salt Trade in Natchitoches
DESCRIPTION:Salt has been part of daily life for millennia. Today we can go to a grocery store and buy pounds worth with little thought on how that salt ends up on those shelves. During the time of the Fort\, people knew who was collecting the salt and most likely the process of collecting it. Join Fort St. Jean Baptiste for a lunch time talk on March 21\, 2025 from 12:30pm to 1pm and learn about the Salt trade and uses in the 18th century. For more information call us at 318-357-3101
