The class will be held on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. through July 17 in Room 113 of the Fine Arts Annex.\nThe fee is $150 plus a $20 material fee paid directly to the instructor on the first night of class. Enrollment in the class is limited.\nThis course is an introduction to working with clay. The student will learn hand-building and sculptural techniques\, as well as work on the potter’s wheel. There will also be room for intermediate and advanced students to take the class who want to use the facilities during class time. DESCRIPTION:A Summer Rock Camp will be held at Northwestern State University on June 23-27 from 8 a.m. until noon in the Fine Arts Annex. The fee for the camp is $180\, which is due when camp contracts come out.  \nThose in the camp can sing\, learn to play instruments such as electric guitar\, bass guitar\, keyboard or drums and play in a rock band. There will be hands-on instruction with a camp performance at the end of the week.   \nSpots in the camp are limited due to the number of instruments provided. His 2010 release\, “Zydeco Junkie”\, won a Grammy for Best Zydeco or Cajun Music.  Zydeco Junkie isn’t just the name of a Grammy Award-winning album\, it’s also Chubby’s outlook on life. \nThis program is brought to you in partnership with the NSU Louisiana Folklife Center and the City of Natchitoches. \n\nFree and open to the public.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Natchitoches is excited to host the 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday\, June 21st\nThe festivities will kick off at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center at 10:00 AM until noon with a\nJuneteenth Basketball Tournament. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities\, including Future Leaders\,\n1st Responders\, and a Celebrity Basketball Tournament. There will be a Health Fair\, a 3-point contest\,\nand dance performances.\nIn the evening\, the celebration will move to the Downtown Riverbank\, beginning at 6:00 PM. Guests can\nenjoy entertainment from DJ Chris\, live music by On Point Band\, and a headline performance by Chris\nArdoin. The event will also feature Pop-Up Shops\, a kids’ zone\, food vendors\, and more. The festivities\nwill conclude with a spectacular fireworks display. Come join us for a day filled with music\, food\, and fun\nfor the whole family!
