Special Events

  • Cookies With Santa will be held Saturday, November 22nd and Saturday, December 13th.  Tickets go on sale November 1st.
  • Turn on the Holidays November 22rd is the official start of the Natchitoches Christmas season.  This event features musical entertainment, a drone show and fireworks!
  • Darkwoods Christmas opens November 29th and features over 300,000 dazzling LED lights that can be seen while strolling through the woods minutes from downtown Natchitoches.
  • Fleur de Lis Christmas Craft Market on Saturday, November 29th will feature over 110 booths during their 21st Anniversary Show.
  • NSU Christmas Gala More than 300 NSU students, faculty, and staff in the School of Creative and Performing Arts combine their talents to present the Gala as a kickoff to the Natchitoches Christmas Festival. Shows are slated for Wednesday, December 3rd through December 5th.
  • Christmas Tour of Homes, a walking tour of uniquely decorated homes in the National Historic Landmark District, will be on December 11th – 13th and 18th – 20th
