SUMMARY:“A Path Less Traveled” Dedication Ceremony at LSMSA
DESCRIPTION:LSMSA and the Louisiana Division of the Arts invite you to a dedication ceremony for “A Path Less Traveled\,” a public art sculpture by artists Jeffrey Reed and Jennifer Madden honoring the legacy of pioneering naturalist Caroline Dormon. The program will begin with a presentation about Dormon’s life and work in LSMSA’s Treen Auditorium. Following the presentation\, the group will walk from the auditorium to the sculpture\, which is located between the Living Learning Commons and the Center for Performance & Technology. \nSupported in part by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts\, Office of Cultural Development\, Department of Culture\, Recreation & Tourism\, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council\, and the National Endowment for the Arts\, a Federal agency.
