Craftspeople from throughout the region will display, demonstrate and sell their arts and crafts at the Annual American Indian Crafts Day at Northwestern State University on Saturday, Dec. 6. Crafts Day is from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Williamson
Museum in Room 208 of Kyser Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. The event is held each year on the same day as the Natchitoches Christmas Festival.
Basketry, file’, beadwork, drums, leatherwork, wood carving and other handmade items will be for sale. Craftspeople are expected from several Louisiana tribes.
