Light the Way 5K

Join the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce for our annual Light the Way 5k. Lace up your running shoes as we get ready to come together for an evening of fun, fitness, and community spirit. 

The Light the Way 5k and Fun Run is back for year four! This night-time race is entirely lit with the famous Natchitoches Christmas lights and has become a favorite annual 5k of both locals and visitors. This year’s race will take place on the Sunday following Turn on the Holidays, Sunday, November 19th. See below for the full schedule of events.

Runners of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age bracket as well as those with the best Christmas costume; so get creative and have FUN! Team themes will be considered.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the NSU Track and Field team and the Natchitoches Chamber Foundation. The Chamber’s foundation exists to transform our business community through education, leadership development, and workforce development based initiatives that drive progress in our community. The foundation supports important initiatives such as Leadership Natchitoches, the A+ Coalition, and the Natchitoches Young Professionals
