Please join us at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum as Donna Baker, NSU Archivist and Records Officer at the Cammie G. Henry Research Center (CGHRC) at Watson Library, talks about some of the great women of Louisiana.
Key figures she will discuss include Cammie G. Henry, Thelma Kyser, Caroline Dormon, and Irma DeBlieux Sompayrac Willard. Also learn about the network of women in the holdings at Watson library such as Women’s organizations; NSU staff, faculty and alumni; and Clementine Hunter.
Free and open to the public. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch and eat while they learn.
